LockNess

My cold finally decided to leave so I gave my hair a good washing a couple days ago. I haven’t re-stocked on my Avalon shampoos so I’ve been using Organics by Africa’s Best Olive Oil Shampoo for a while. It gets the job done, and it has a nice scent.

I happened upon another Organics product in my sister’s room. It’s Herbal Thick Hair Vitalizer. Anything that says “No petrolium or mineral oil” always gets my attention. It’s very creamy, and the scent is a-maz-ing! It reminds of Naani’s stuff. After using it on my aunt’s natural hair and liking the results, I wondered how my locs would take to it.

As you know, I re-twist with ORS Lock & Twist Gel. This time when I re-twisted I combined the ORS with the vitalizer. I didn’t mix them in a container or anything. I put the ORS on the portion I twisted (near the root), then I applied the cream down the length of my loc and palm rolled it. Looooved how it left my hair feeling! This is a great moisturizer. I’m going to be stocking up on it fo’ sho’.
